Arne Dahl: The Blinded Man (2011)
In the sheer panic after the killings of a couple of high society businessmen, the Chief of Police decides to start up a new elite force, comprising of selected officers from all corners of the country. Under the command of superintendent Jan-Olov Hultin, the group launches its mission - to find the elusive killer that enters the homes of businessmen late at night, waits for them in their living rooms, while listening to jazz, and finally shoots them with two distinctive bullets through the head. Different traces lead in different directions - to Russia, to the world of jazz and banking, and finally, after having been astray for a while, the Intercrime is lead right by a tape with Thelonius Monk's jazz classic Misterioso…

Arne Dahl: Bad Blood (2012)
An American serial killer is on board a plane from New York to Stockholm. Without a proper identification and with great urgency A-group try to locate this passenger before Sweden inadvertently imports it's first American serial killer. The serial killer enters Sweden, and very soon he begins his killing spree. His methods are blood thirsty and can be traced back to the Vietnam War. A collaboration with the FBI begins in a desperate attempt to catch him.

Arne Dahl: To the Top of the Mountain (2012)
A man gets blown up in a high security prison. A massacre takes place in a dark suburb. A vulnerable young couple is traveling around Sweden. A wealthy drug baron seems to be under attack. A high ranking police officer starts behaving strangely. And somewhere in the near future there is a distinctive risk of a terrorist attack. These things are connected, but how? This is the ultimate challenge for the Intercrime when they finally get their second chance.

Arne Dahl: Many Waters (2012)
It is a story of love gone extremely sour, which becomes the journey of a lifetime - and the viewer is dragged onto a roller coaster ride of emotional extremes. Kerstin Holm is confronted with her former fiance, who is accused of shooting an unarmed African refugee trying to escape deportation. It turns out that he is involved in a much more extensive game, a self-appointed biblical crusade of righteousness. This game forces its way into the most hidden corners of Kerstin Holm's life and emotions, and leads the entire Intercrime team of the Swedish police to study the most disturbing parts of the Holy Scriptures in their quest for a killer who will let nothing stand in the way of his self-appointed mission.

Arne Dahl: Europa Blues (2012)
What does the strange execution of a man at the Stockholm zoo Skansen have to do with the eight disappearing Eastern European women from a refugee station outside the city? And do these cases really have any connection with the horrifying murder of the old Jewish professor at the Jewish cemetery? And what is their relation to the diary from a vague, nightmare-like place on the border of death in 1945? Could any of this really have the least to do with the Intercrime member Arto Söderstedt on a long vacation in Tuscany with his big family? Slowly the seemingly disconnected cases approach each other in the minds of the Intercrime. And time starts acting strange for superintendent Jan-Olov Hultin. The past is not in order. The different cases slowly form a net that his team throws over Europe - and over the dubious Swedish past.

Arne Dahl: The Blinded Man (2011)
Three Swedish financiers are murdered over three consecutive nights. Evidence suggests that the killings will continue and the world of finance is panicked. The police quickly set up a special unit under the leadership of Detective Jenny Hultin. She hand picks six police officers from across the country and they form the so-called A-group. Under enormous pressure they attempt to solve the case before more finance officers are murdered.

Arne Dahl: Bad Blood (2012)
At Newark airport outside New York the Swedish literary critic Lars-Erik Hassel is tortured to death in a closet full of cleaning devices. Slowly the American police realises that the perpetrator has stolen Hassel's flight ticket and checked in in his place at the fully-booked plane. But his identity isn't known. They call the Swedish police and get in contact with the Intercrime, now permanent after the success of Misterioso as 'The National Police's Special Unit for International Violent Crimes'. The Intercrime rushes to the airport, and after some turmoil it is clear that the murderer has escaped without being identified - or even seen.

Arne Dahl: To the Top of the Mountain (2012)
A young football supporter gets knocked down by a beer mug in a well-known pub in Stockholm. He dies on the floor of the pub. It's a meaningless crime, far from the heydays of the Intercrime, which has now been dispersed. Paul Hjelm and Kerstin Holm have to deal with it. And when they do, something happens. In the background of the restaurant there are things going on, things they slowly come to grips with. These things seem to be connected to other, and much more gruesome, violent crimes in Sweden this midsummer.

Arne Dahl: Many Waters (2012)
Many Waters is perhaps Arne Dahl's most personal novel, placing detective Kerstin Holm at the boundary of what is humanly endurable. It is a story of love gone extremely sour, which becomes the journey of a lifetime - and the reader is dragged onto a roller coaster ride of emotional extremes. Kerstin Holm is confronted with her former fiancé, who is accused of shooting an unarmed African refugee trying to escape deportation.

A Greek gangster arrives in Stockholm with unknown orders from a large but secret criminal syndicate. In a state of megalomania he sits by the waterfront on the idyllic island of Djurgården, snorts a couple of coke strings and leaves the sea when the dusk is setting. In the shades of his slightly distorted consciousness he finds himself followed by strange, subhuman beings. He starts running and climbs into the Skansen zoo. The followers seem less and less human to him, and it is in a state of panic he is caught up by these goddesses from the ancient Greek stories that he has practically forgotten. He meets his death in the shape of sheer pain. It is a peculiar sight that meets detectives Paul Hjelm and Jorge Chavez at the cosy Skansen the next, sunny spring morning. From the fence surrounding the wolverine cage hangs a rope, and in the rope hangs parts of a leg. The rest of the body seems to have been consumed by the seemingly innocent little furry creatures. Who is the victim? How did he end up here?
