Synopsis:

Founded in 1966 by director Arnold Burovs in Riga, Studio AB (Animacijas Brigade) has largely contributed to Latvia's excellent reputation in animated puppet cinema; Always faithful to the traditional technique of image by image, the team animates its articulated dolls in hand-made decorations. This silversmith's work has won numerous awards at festivals around the world. These mini stories, from 5 to 8 minutes, simmered as it should be for the little ones, practically without words, but full of chirps, squeaks, chuckles and mooes, are also suitable to cheer up adults. Playful animals - a tiger, a cat, a bird, a raccoon, a marabour - and blundering humans, cobbled together from cardboard boxes and pieces of string.
