The Eagleman Stag (2011)
If you repeat the word 'fly' for long enough it sounds like you are saying 'life'. This is of no help to Peter. His answers lie in the brain of the beetle.
Three Points (Trois petits points) (2010)
A nice little girl tries to mend the world destroyed by the specter of war.
Luminaris (2011)
In a world controlled and timed by the light, a common man has a plan that could change the destiny.
Sidewalk Scribble (2011)
A city made of scribble comes to life as people go about their day. Set to the music of Franz Liszt.
Paths of Hate (2010)
A short tale about the demons that slumber deep in the human soul and have the power to push people into the abyss of blind hate, fury and rage.
Plato (2010)
Falling up, tumbling sideways, profound flatness and zigzagging lines. Hey, man! Where's your cube? Welcome to Plato, somewhere between anamorphosis of reality and severity of imagination.
Sticky Ends (Chroniques de la poisse) (2010)
Jinx is a man with the head of a fish. Misfortune bubbles escape from his mouth. When one of them follows somebody, he becomes dogged by bad luck, and comes to a sticky end…
The Lost Town of Switez (2010)
The animated film The Lost Town of Switez is based on the 19th-century epic poem by Poland's greatest writer, Adam Mickiewicz, about a ghostly town deluged after a bloody massacre in medieval times, which now lies at the bottom of a remote lake. It is an apocalyptic tale of destruction, religious miracles and spectral visitations. The film imports paintings into digital 3D combined with both CG animation and visual special effects to create a mesmerizing aesthetic experience, set to a specially-commissioned full choral and orchestral score. It dramatically merges literature, painting, music and animation.
Pixels (2010)
New York City is invaded by 8-bit creatures.
The Making of Longbird (2011)
A 'behind-the-scenes' look at an Animator/Filmmaker as he struggles with his character.
The People Who Never Stop (2012)
The people who never stop. Or do they?
Seven Minutes in the Warsaw Ghetto (2012)
A little boy in the middle of the brutal world of the Holocaust. Based on an actual event.
The Enchanted Garden (Le jardin enchanté) (2011)
Alain, hardened ecologist, settles down with his mammals and vegetables musical roommates next to a house in which lives Mister X.
A Furtive Tear (Una Furtiva Lagrima) (2012)
The last journey of a fish as it sings its own requiem, from its sale at the fish market all the way into the frying pan.
Story Of Him (Història d'Este) (2012)
A performance in an old theater tells the story of Him, a normal guy with a daily routine of coffee, brandy and beer. An animated tale about alcoholism.
Kyrielle (2011)
The word Kyrielle in french means ""long series of various things"", besides, le jeu des Kyrielles 'the game of Kyrielles' is a word game that is presented as a child´s song, taking as the first syllable the last syllable of the previous expression as in the famous french nursery rhyme : Marabout, Bout de ficelle, Selle de Cheval, etc... The repeating rhythms and cycles have a hypnotic quality, and encourage the viewer's eye to wonder playfully and explore different figures. The piece was built with 285 watercolors, letting the drawing deforms himself gradually from improvisation movements. The animated figures are developing a complex symmetric abstraction, and then returning to the minimalist aesthetic of the initial white. The final piece, on a palindromic form, was then digitally designed. Kyrielle was inspired, among others, from works like Tango of the filmmaker Zbigniew Rybczynski or the paint Children's Games by Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
Friendsheep (2011)
A wolf gets a job in an office plenty of sexy and succulent sheep.
Second Hand (2012)
The term "second hand" refers to the ticking hand on a clock; it also describes re-used items. Would you rather save time? Or save stuff? This film examines the imbalance and waste created by these modern obsessions.
