In present-day Norway in the small city of GjÃ¸vik. In this world of 'Generation Perfection,' 15-year-old Frida's classmates agree that she is so weird. When she is paired up as study buddies with Marius, who does everything he can to be exemplary, he just sees another opportunity to show everyone what a great guy he is.
