Graça Castanheira documentary that revisits João Cutileiro's projects and sculptures in the public space and in the sculptor's house / studio. From the extraction of stone, to the difficulties of assembly, from the euphoria of the project to the setbacks of criticism, his work marks the cultural landscape of Portugal. Through informal conversations with João Cutileiro, his wife, the artist Margarida Lagarto, and his friend and art historian Joaquim Caetano, we followed the sculptor's path and visited some of his best known works, such as the beautiful sculpture of the anti-hero D Sebastião in Lagos, the monumental D. Afonso Henriques in Guimarães or the provocative monument to the 25th of April, in Parque Eduardo VII in Lisbon.
