Synopsis:

Based on the popular German comic strips, the film follows the adventures, loves and betrayal of three friends in a swashbuckling pirate story set in the Caribbean. The Abrafaxe - Under the Black Flag is the first animated cinema film to be produced featuring the three adventurers Abrax, Brabax and Califax (Alex, Max and Califax for the English-language version). The soundtrack features the popular German band, Nena, known for its 1980s hit "99 Red Balloons." The Abrafaxe - Under the Black Flag was produced by Klaus D. Schleiter and Gerhard Hahn and directed by Hahn and Tony Power.

Great animation feature from Europe!. Three teens friends come to the middle age through the ancient artefact, and they come to the Caribbean with pirates, Spanish galleons and lost treasures. This adventure become dangerous for them but friendship, loyalty and cleverness help them in all troubles.
