Synopsis:

A superstitious, illiterate young gypsy servant girl comes to live with a solitary female artist at her country chateau. The girl has recurring nightmares of a naked man on horseback assaulting and abusing her. As the artist takes the girl under her wing, a sensuous relationship develops between them. At the same time, the naked horseman begins to appear in reality. The girl, convinced that he represents her doom, resists him; but the artist is intrigued and a bizarre erotic triangle is established.

Lorna is a beautiful woman living all alone, with only her books and paintings for company. Then one day Triana, a wild, dark haired gypsy girl comes to stay with her. Soon the pair are lovers. But Triana has a dark secret that manifests itself in frightening dreams of domination and humiliation. Unable to resist the strange passions that consume her, Lorna finds herself sucked deeper and deeper into the whirlpool that surrounds her strange lover. When Triana, a wild gypsy orphan, comes to stay with the beautiful but lonely Lorna, the pair of them soon embark upon a passionate affair.
