Synopsis:

Two American secret agents are sent to the world's hotbed of danger: Estonia. Estonia proves to be even more reckless, violent and unbalanced than the agents themselves. Frank and Wendy, for whom saving the world is daily work, achieve both mental and manual feats with the greatest of ease, and it appears that nothing can prevent their ultimate victory. But the axis of evil does not wither and attacks the super-agents from every possible angle...

Subtitled "A Blow to the Back of Society's Head", this award-winning collection has been called everything from racist to brilliant (once in the same review), and is actually built from the finest portions of Estonia's most beloved cult TV show. In this collection, Frank and Wendy primarily do battle with supernatural phenomena. Their foes include the sinister George Woo, an army of Nazi dwarves, a spectral six-foot rabbit, a machine that turns humans into sausages, shaven monkeys, Japanese men dressed as polar bears... you get the picture. Or perhaps not. In any case, Frank and Wendy is a gloriously grotesque 2-D satire which has plenty of fun at the expense of just about everyone, in particular crass Americans, dozy Latvians and government at large. Animated in a uniquely crackpot style, the ten-fisted comedic assault of this unelievable feature will leave you dizzied and winded. Heads twist, backgrounds shudder and explosions rock the seemingly oblivious cartoon cast as the world turns itself inside out around them. Not recommended for those without at least three senses of humor.
