Synopsis:

As drought strikes the country and decimates their herds of cattle, the inhabitants of a Maasai village in Kenya believe that they have been cursed and that the only way to appears the wrath of the Red god and save their community from imminent death is to offer up to him, the mane of Vitchoua, a god incarnated as the king of the lions. Their best warrior is sent to hunt Vitchoua but is himself killed. The elders then choose eight teenage boys to vanquish the supernatural predator.
