Synopsis:

Days before finishing their annual three weeks of military service, a lieutenant and his six soldiers lose their way during an exercise. By accident, they penetrate into French territory. This leaves them with two options: they can either return to Switzerland by going through an official border post, which would make them deserters and automatically bring them before a military court, or try to make their way back illegally by going through the nearby forest. Everyone agrees to go for the second option. But they do not anticipate the difficulties lying ahead. The terrain proves hazardous and the group soon faces potential tragedy.

A motley group of Swiss Army conscripts find themselves lost on a routine exercise and must find their way back to base, before triggering an international incident.
