Synopsis:

Set in Liverpool over two months, story follows Iris, a restless dreamer who has a boring boyfriend Gary. Her sister, Rose, is married to reliable Frank and is seven months pregnant. One evening, Iris bumps into a young Irish guy, Tom, and they have sex in an alley. Wearing her mother's wig, fur coat, and sunglasses, Iris becomes prey to erotic fantasies, casual sex, and an obsession with Tom. Understandably, her relationship with Rose and her best friend Vron are pushed to the limit.

Iris and her older sister Rose are struck by sudden death of their mother. Their dad left for Australia 10 years ago. Iris is a romantic dreamer and has a boring boyfriend Gary. Rose is married to reliable Frank and is pregnant. One night Iris meets young Irishman Tom in a movie theater and they have spontaneous sex in an alley. Iris is taken by erotic fantasies and casual sex, she is obsessed with Tom and her relationships with Rose and best friend Vron start to blossom.

Although married and pregnant Rose has always been Mother's favorite, it is younger sister Iris whose life is shaken up by Mother's death. Suffocating, Iris spirals out of control and copes by losing herself in sexual oblivion. She leaves her steady, Gary, for a steady stream of one night stands in the arms of mysterious strangers, alienating Gary, Rose, her friends, and her employers in the process. Will this go on until she loses everything that is meaningful to her?
