Synopsis:

Tommy's father is a zoologist working on a wild animal reserve in northern Finland. He wants to discover whether the lynx can be reintroduced into this wilderness. But the locals are worried the lynx could kill their animals. When the experiment fails, the inhabitants demand it should be sold. But Tommy has grown fond of the lynx and sets it free. In the rugged, wintery countryside, the lynx has no knowledge of survival and a poacher is after it. Tommy must find the lynx first.
