Synopsis:
High-flying lawyer Laura Gibson (Sigrid Thornton) has grown sick and tired of her frantic life in Melbourne and decides to move to somewhere more peaceful, a place where she can rediscover herself and her values. She settles on the sleepy town of Pearl Bay and, after initial apprehension and a period of adjustment, allows herself to relax and enjoy the laid back lifestyle the idyllic location has to offer. She meets a variety of colorful characters, finding romance with the laconic and enigmatic Diver Dan (David Wenham). However the town is not without its problems, namely the Local Mayor and developer Bob Jelly (John Howard), who has his eyes set on profiteering from the town's picturesque beauty, forcing Laura to fight for the town she has grown to love. A rich supporting cast including Tom Long (The Dish, Two Hands) and Kerry Armstrong (Lantana) add variety and depth to this charming and delightful ensemble drama. This 12-disc set features all 39 episodes from Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3, together for the first time on DVD for a limited time.

Behind Laura Gibson is a city of corporate deals, gourmet home delivery and a broken marriage. In front of her lies the picture perfect Pearl Bay, a position as the local magistrate, plenty of time to get to know the kids and an idyllic lifestyle. But this idyllic lifestyle is not all that it seems. In this first series of SeaChange, join Laura and her family as they discover friendships and love in a town of divided loyalties, old secrets and bizarre machinations and become part of this strange and wonderful community.

When a corporate lawyer's professional and personal lives crumble she leaves the city with her children to live in a small seaside town and becomes a local judge.
