Synopsis:
Detective drama. Detective Sergeant Stephen Tree has a dark secret in his past, and as well as trying to atone and overcome his demons, he has to evade criminal Paul Small who is intent on revealing his past. Tree is put onto a case involving the death of a whistle-blower in the Canadian military, who has exposed an incident in Bosnia, and has difficulty cracking the military code of honour whilst contending with pressures from his boss, an internal investigation and attraction to his ex-wife, a criminal psychiatrist.
