Synopsis:
Gaby is 14 years old and hates school. He knows that every day he goes, Guille and his gang will make his life impossible: humiliation in front of his classmates, mocking and even beatings. The rest of the class doesn't react out of fear. Neither his family nor his teachers are aware of what is happening. Gaby takes comfort both in Carla, a friend from school whom he's in love with, and Silverio, an old pizza maker. Alongside the school and adolescent life, the life of the adults around them is also tarnished with fear. Gaby's father is also terrified under the constant threat of being fired by his boss; his mother is fearful that her family is going to crumble and passively observes what is happening with her husband and son. Guille's father is an important businessman who disguises his fear of failure by projecting superiority and disdain; his mother is afraid to admit that her family is not perfect and looks the other way. Gaby is fed up and decides to take action. He can't think of any more alternatives so he decides to listen to the advice of the pizza maker: an eye for an eye. Gaby is finally free, but he has paid a high price for it: he has learned that the World is a jungle where the strongest ones survive and there is no place for the weak. He has lost his first true love, Carla. To live like a coward is the easiest solution in a world dominated by fear.

Gaby is a 14-year-old boy who is afraid of going to school. Perhaps his fear is caused by Guille, a classmate, who in turn is afraid of disappointing his father. But Gaby and Guilles fathers are both afraid. Joaquín, Gaby's father, is afraid of losing his job, and Merche, his mother, is afraid that their family will fall apart. Guillermo, Guille's father, is afraid of the power that surrounds him, and Magda, his mother, is afraid of not knowing her own son. And then there is Silverio, the pizzeria owner, who is not afraid of anything. Well, perhaps God. And you? What are you afraid of?

Gaby suffers the constant bullying at school by Guille and his gang. In a world with no room for the weak, Gaby's only solution is to resort to violence in order to get rid of his torment. He learns a painful lesson: it's easier to live like a coward.
