Manual of love
Four tales of love and betrayal: Tommaso (Silvio Muccino) meets and falls madly in love with the beautiful but completely uninterested Giulia (Jasmine Trinca); Barbara (Margherita Buy) and Marco (Sergio Rubini) are an older couple losing the spark in their relationship; Traffic cop Ornella (comedienne Luciana Littizzetto) strays from her marriage, and meanwhile, melancholic paediatrician Goffredo (Carlo Vendome) isn't so lucky in trying to win back his wife.

Singing Behind Screens
A young man (Davide Dragonetti) gets lost and mistakenly enters a Chinese brothel. Inside, an old sea captain is standing on the stage, recounting a thrilling pirate story. Admiral Ching, the pirate leader, has been murdered by his own financial backers, after attempting to cut a deal with the Emperor. Surprising everyone, his widow (Jun Ichikawa) boldly takes his place at the head of the fleet, and rejecting the authorities' offer of clemency, takes her revenge, ravaging the coast of China. The young heir to the throne sets out in pursuit of her, personally engaging the widow Ching in a great naval battle.

Keys to the house
From Gianni Amelio, the acclaimed director of OPEN DOORS, THE KEYS TO THE HOUSE is a compassionate, incredibly affecting exploration of fatherhood and the often surprising nature of disability. Abandoned as a child into the care of an uncle and aunt, Paulo is a physically and mentally challenged boy whose winning personality is evoked with wonderful sensitivity by Andrea Rossi. His father, Gianni (Kim Rossi Stuart) is asked to accompany him to Berlin for medical tests, despite the two never having met before. Everyone is hoping for a breakthrough for Paulo, many thinking it may only come if Gianni can forge an emotional bond with his son.

Have no Fear
The new film from Angelo Longoni is a powerful white-knuckle thriller about the corruption of innocence and imagination, featuring a captivating performance by Laura Morante (THE SON'S ROOM) as a wife and mother who is pushed to desperation.

Sacred Heart
Irene (the luminous Barbara Bobulova) is an unscrupulous and successful businesswoman. In her hands, the family enterprises continue to expand and profit. But when two of her friends commit suicide following her buy-out of their company, Irene's soaring self-confidence begins to crack, and she retreats to her family's historic palazzo residence in central Rome. There she befriends a bright young street kid, Beni (Camille Dugay Comencini) - and finally discovers the secret to finding happiness...

In the Light of the Sun
An extraordinary, unsettling new drama, based on the tragic events that led to the assassination of Father Giuseppe Puglisi, a catholic priest, on 15 September 1993 a troubled time when the Mafia stepped up its aggression against the state with bomb attacks in Rome, Florence and Milan, and also demonstrated its influence outside Sicily.
.
Once You're Born You can No Longer Hide
The compelling new film from multi award-winning director Marco Tullio Giordana is both a tremendously moving coming of age story, and a sensitively observed portrait of an Italy that's coming to terms with its new status as a multicultural society.
One night, during a sailing trip through the Mediterranean, Sandro (impressive newcomer Matteo Gadola), the only son of a wealthy Brescian entrepreneur, falls overboard. Although he's given up for dead, Sandro is instead rescued, and finds himself on an overcrowded fishing boat that is carrying illegal immigrants to Italian shores. Thus begins an adventuresome return to Italy, at the end of which nothing will ever be the same...

How We Ruined the Italian Movie Business
A thoroughly entertaining documentary about the beloved Sicilian comic duo Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia, who starred together in over 100 films. Franco and Ciccio were once street artists in Palermo, but became increasingly popular, first in theatre on television, and later film. Between 1964 and 1968, they played the lead roles in no less than 38 films, including War, Italian Style with an aged Buster Keaton. Later they worked with artistic directors such as Fellini, and Pasolini, but didn't shun more risky excursions, as can be seen by Franco's role in an hilarious parody of Last Tango in Paris.

The Fever
Mario (Fabio Volo), a thirty-something surveyor drifts along - living in Cremona with his very traditionally minded mother, and working at City Hall gently learning to lower his life expectations. One day what seems to him like a golden opportunity arises: a building has become available, and he and a group of friends can finally build the discotheque they've dreamed about for so long...

When do the Girls Show Up?
This uplifting, semi-autobiographical new drama from Pupi Avati is a touching tale of the soaring dreams, passions and bitter rivalries of youth.

The Life I Want
An established and famous actor and an aspiring young actress develop a relationship while working together on films. Their mutual attraction and passion draw them together while also pulling them apart.

Kiss Me First
Romantic drama centered around Adele and Marcello who seem to have been destined from birth (both having been born on 16th April 1927). Their story is told by Loris who has witnessed their love from the time, as children they exchanged rings made from a bicycle tyre, in front of a small group of school friends.
