Synopsis:

This award-winning mini-series from Sweden starts with equal parts of sex, love and infidelity, in a prosperous residential area just south of Gothenburg. Adding Henning, gynecologist played by Jacob Nordenson, a chlamydia infected pensioner played by Mona Malm and Eric Ericsson as the Casanova-like leader. The result is the drama series 'Gynecologist in Askim', the second part of scriptwriters Bigert Martina and Maria Thulin-Kindblom planned sex trilogy which began with the feature film 'Allt om min buske' ('All about my bush') earlier this year.

The story takes place in the extremely wealthy suburbs of Gothenburg as its beautiful location right on the coast and its fashionable house attracts the most wealthy people to settle. In this idyllic setting operates Henning, a gynecologist and his receptionist wife Louise. As Askims gynecologist Henning knows both the common and very intimate details about people in society and it appears that it hides a bubbling inferno of trapped emotions in the idyllic surface of Askim. Henning himself is tired of exploring his only woman and is trying to find true love elsewhere.

Gynecologist in Askim is a drama in four hour-long section of the SVT with the scheduled broadcast start in autumn 07. Henning runs a gynecologist reception with his wife Louise in Askim, a prosperous residential area just south of Gothenburg. The villas in Askim is fleet, shiny cars and the view is enchanting. As a gynecologist may Henning know some intimate details about people in society. It appears soon be a bubbling inferno of feelings in the otherwise so välfriserade surface in Askim homes is about to explode. Self Henning is in the soul tired of exploring women's single and trying to find true love elsewhere.
