Synopsis:
Swiss filmmaker Anna Luif marks her feature film debut with a coming-of-age story of a 13-year-old girl who struggles with issues typically faced by teenagers - as well as some that are not so typical - in the 2003 film Little Girl Blue. Sandra (Muriel Neukom) and her family have just moved to a new section of town and know virtually no one. With little to do but bike around town, Sandra discovers a lost wallet that turns out to belong to a fellow classmate named Mike (Andreas Eberle). The handsome young man turns out to be just as much of a loner as Sandra and the two become friends. As Sandra begins to fall in love with her friend, she also learns that her arch-enemy, the supercool and extremely nasty Nadja (Marina Guerrini), has also set her sights on Mike. Sandra's chance to further her relationship with Mike is jeopardized when they discover that Mike's mother has started having an affair with Sandra's father -- though Mike has no idea who the man is and Sandra isn't very keen to let him know the truth. Little Girl Blue was selected to participate in the 2003 Montreal World Film Festival and the 2003 Locarno International Film Festival.

Thirteen-year-old Sandra is new in the neighbourhood. When she falls in love with Mike the boy next door, but there are obstacles to be overcome, for Sandra's father secretly meets with Mike's mother.

Thirteen-year-old Sandra isn't happy to be the new girl in town, but then she falls in love with Mike and all her problems seem to be forgotten. Everything is great until they witness Mike's mother having an affair and he goes off the handle. Afraid of losing Mike, Sandra doesn't know how to tell Mike the stranger is her father.
