Synopsis:
Welcome to the world of public relations... Where style triumphs over substance, tabloids are the new judge and jury, and five minutes of fame is considered a long-term career.

Charles Prentiss and Martin McCabe are masters of the art of manipulation. Supported by a similarly wily and unprincipled team, they have brilliantly steered public opinion towards their loathsome clients. Just as every action has a reaction, for every spin, there's a counter-spin. Nothing is as bad as it seems, nor as good. Its all about making people believe, despite what may be right in front of their eyes.

Contains the Following Episodes

The Nation's Favourite
When a Saudi businessman offers Prentiss and McCabe vast amounts of money to help him buy British Airways, it seems an irresistible proposition - until they discover his name is Bin Laden...

The Trial
Charles becomes the subject of spin after it is revealed he invented an under-age sex scandal to promote one of his client's books and is put on trial for perjury.

Blood Bank
With Charles in prison, Martin is left in charge. His latest client is an artist who poses a tricky problem - he has the potential to win the Turner Prize, but claims he wants no part of the art-world media circus.

The House of Lords
The Government needs to be seen to be doing something radical about reforming the House of Lords. Martin's strategy to sex it up results in a Big Brother-style revamp of Parliamentary television coverage called The House.

Spinning America
When hamburger sales and American imports start plummeting, it appears there is a post-Iraq backlash. Prentiss McCabe is called in to spin the unspinnable - to make the people of Britain love America again.

Identity Crisis
How do you sell the idea of identity cards to the British public, when they stand to gain nothing and lose their privacy? It is a tough enough challenge without MI5 bugging their offices.

The inner workings of a successful PR firm - lying for a living.
