Synopsis:

Documentary. Feature length adaptation of BBC TV series PLANET EARTH. Guided by the Sun, we set off on an epic tour of the world. In the Arctic, a family of polar bears wakens beneath the first rays of spring sunlight. On the other side of the world, an elephant and her calf have to share the little available water with a proud pride of lions. In the last part of the voyage, we follow a humpback whale who has to protect her calf on a migration of 6,000 km to the Antartic.

The story of three animal families and their amazing journeys across the planet we all call home. The film combines rare action, unimaginable scale and impossible locations by capturing the most intimate moments of our planet's wildest and most elusive creatures.
