Synopsis:
Rhythm, zest for life, african expression. Othmar Schmiderer's film switches from Europe to Africa and back, following the traces and origins of five artists in their home countries, performing in the circus Afrika! Afrika!. Scenes from the artists background and their family lifes, splinter of the circumstances of their career and their personal development and fragments of their dreams provide a deep insight into their individual being.

Follows five successful African artists for a year, through rehearsals, shows, and visits to their respective hometowns.
