Synopsis:

The Battle of Sempach, 1386: The Swiss are losing against the Habsburgs. Young Arnold Winkelried wants to avenge the death of his grandfather at the hand of the empire, but realizes violence is not worth it. He sees that only God can save him and his family, and throw himself onto the spears of the enemy, clearing a path for Swiss victory. Swiss production with a tiny budget but a huge cast of extras, locations and costumes.
