Synopsis:

In Northern Norway during and just after WW II, regions are liberated by the Soviet Red Army. With Norwegian-Russian anti-Nazi solidarity, young fisherman Simon (Stig Henrik Hoff) is recruited as a KGB spy, trained in Russia, and sent home. But rumors of his spy activities circulate, creating problems with girlfriend Lilian (Gorild Mauseth) and his other friends.

Set in the north of Norway during and after World War II. Inspired by the Norwegian-Russian solidarity against Nazism during the War, a young fisherman, Simon, decides to train as a spy for the KGB. Simon proves good at his job, but his close relationships begin to suffer as rumours spread about his secret career.

When a young lawyer escapes to his northern Norwegian hometown, the journey becomes an unexpected and mysterious foray into his past. The village is in financial ruin, a vulnerable position like his own. Leaving the past behind will save both man and village.
