Synopsis:

A desolate northern Italian town set beneath majestic mountains. Scattered houses built along a highway, in the midst of enormous lumber yards, shopping centres and neon. Rino and Cristiano Zena, father and son, live here. Rino makes do with odd jobs. Cristiano is in middle school. It is the two of them against the world. Rino raises his son the best he can. Cristiano worships his father with a misguided but powerful love. Their lone friend, Quattro Formaggi, has not been right in the head since an accident. He spends his days building a strange manger scene made of trash taken from the town dump...

The story of the relationship between a neo-Nazi and alcoholic man, Rino Zena and his 11-year-old son Cristiano. They live on the margins of the society in a town in North Italy. Their only friend is Quattro Formaggi, a mentally ill man with whom they kinda form a surrogate family. A dark, long night of rain, lighting and desperation will change their lives forever.

Centers on an 11-year-old Cristiano and his neo-Nazi dad, both outcasts in an Italo suburbia strewn with strip malls and cell phone shops. And a homicide.
