Synopsis:

A Man There Was (1917)
Terje Vigen, a sailor, suffers the loss of his family through the cruelty of another man. Years later, when his enemy's family finds itself dependent on Terje's beneficence, Terje must decide whether to avenge himself.

The Wild Duck (1963)
Film version of Ibsen's play by his grandson.

Lady Inger of Oestraat (1975)
This historical drama is based on a play by Henrik Ibsen and set in the year 1528. The central figure in the low-keyed story is a Norwegian noblewoman who is seeking to bring independence to that country despite the involved political intrigues of the Swedes and Danes, who are using Norway as a pawn in their rivalries.

Containing Norwegian and Swedish films based on the works of the famous Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. It is aimed at anyone with a fascination for Ibsen's modern dramas and his insight into the intricate workings of the human mind. The collection includes:
