Synopsis:

In this black-and-white Norwegian film, the story is told of an investigation into two rapes in the snow-clad, isolated countryside. The authorities find the logical suspect, a young laborer. His two victims definitely identify him. Surely this is an open-and-shut case? However, all is not as it appears to be.

Drama: Anders, a road construction worker, is suspected of brutally raping a housewife and attempting to rape a young woman. He is faced with a full police investigation.
