Synopsis:

Ken Boon is back in the saddle. With his trusty steed White Lightning, a 650 cc BSA motorbike, he finds more adventure and humour in this third series of the BAFTA-winning hit drama. With heart-warming storylines and an array of guest stars, it's no surprise that Boon was an instant ratings winner for ITV and remains a much-loved series to this day. Michael Elphick stars as Ken, the former fireman with a heart of gold and a passion for the Wild West who is trying to make a success of his new motorbike despatch firm, The Texas Rangers. David Daker is Harry, Ken's over-ambitious business partner and old friend from his days in the West Midlands Fire Service, while Amanda Burton stars as Ken's on-off partner, Margaret, and Neil Morrissey is Rocky - a gentle, vulnerable lad beneath his menacing black bike leathers. Brian Blessed, Oliver Tobias and Patricia Hayes are among the guests appearing in this third series, originally screened in 1988 and 1989.
