Synopsis:
When Irena Mirkovic agrees to collaborate with Father Iridio on the staging of a paradoxical 'Easter Passion' play in a prison institution, she doesn't realise that this experience will change her life. Not only because her encounter with the prison governor Libero Tarsitano leads her to end her relationship with her actor boyfriend Cristiano, but because she soon finds herself faced with an irresolvable problem. After winning the prisoners' trust, Irena realises that 'inside' nobody wants to play the part of Giuda, for reasons that are clear to all in a prison setting. Despite her insistences, the 'boys' remain steadfast in their refusal. Moreover, there is even someone who tries to hamper the show: Sister Bonaria, an uncompromising nun who has a very practical sense.

A musical comedy set in an Italian jailhouse where the inmates are workshopping an all-dancing, all-singing reinterpretation of the Crucifixion.
