Synopsis:

The film, directed by Danyael Sugawara and starring Anneke Blok, Wieger Windhorst, Ronald Top & Lidewij Mahler, deals with the feelings of a mother & son who have both reached a crossroads in their lives. Damiaan (Wieger Windhorst) has passed his final exams and flies from the parental coop - whilst his mother (Anneke Blok), who raised him after her husband's death, meets a new love in her life...a barge skipper!!!

A story on the trials and tribulations of a mother-and-son relationship, which goes downhill after son Damiaan passes his school exams and almost immediately moves into a squat, while his widowed mother Aleid falls for the charms of a skipper and moves in with him just as soon.

As a mother and her 18-year old son become more isolated, they suffer the inevitable pain of loss. But true love can conquer all.
