Synopsis:

Camino is a lovely and bright little girl with a crush on a boy and who wants only to join her local theatre group. After feeling a pain in her back, medical tests uncover something much more frightening than she had ever realised. As her obsessively pious mother encourages Camino to submit to her suffering as an act of martyrdom to please the Lord, the brave young girl disappears into her own imagination for comfort.
