Synopsis:

In 1985, at the age of 26, Giancarlo Siani was killed by the 'Camorra' (Neapolitan Mafia). Fortapàsc tells of this passionate investigative reporter's last four months, when he traveled daily from his home in the genteel Vomero neighborhood to the dangerous mafia realm of boss Valentino Gionta. At the time, criminal interests focused on profiting from post-earthquake construction, as Siani observed and understood. Siani moved through a murky underworld inhabited by ruthless figures, corrupt politicians, cowardly prosecutors and policemen whose hands were tied. The investigation he courageously initiated and kept alive ultimately led to his assassination.

The story of Giancarlo Siani, a journalist killed by the Neapolitan Mafia in 1985.
