Synopsis:
A collection of films featuring old dark houses, creaking doors, uninvited guests, foggy moors, eccentric hosts, mysterious strangers, murder and noises in the night. The collection includes the films PHANTOM EXPRESS (1932), HOUSE OF MYSTERY (1934), HOUSE OF SECRETS (1936), A WALKING NIGHTMARE (1942), CARNIVAL OF SOULS (1962) and TERROR CREATURES FROM THE GRAVE (1965)

The Phantom Express (1932)
A railway is threatened by mysterious wrecks, which turn out to be caused by criminals using a unique deception.

House of Mystery (1934)
An ancient curse and a killer ape are contained inside an old dark mansion.

House of Secrets (1936)
Two men stumble into an old mansion, and get involved with a crazed scientist, torture chambers and sinister medical experiments.

A Walking Nightmare (1942)
Wise-cracking ex-detective Nick Trayne is called in to try to find the whereabouts of wealthy kidnap victim Walter Craig. Craig unexpectedly turns up alive but with apparent brain damage, leaving him in a zombified state. Trayne and his perky assistant Billie Hilton have their work cut out for them as they must sift through a houseload of possible suspects to get at the culprit.

Carnival of Souls (1962)
After a traumatic accident, a woman becomes drawn to a mysterious abandoned carnival.

Terror Creatures from the Grave (1965)
An attorney arrives at a castle to settle the estate of its recently deceased owner. The owner's wife and daughter reveal that he was someone who was able to summon the souls of ancient plague victims and, in fact, his spirit was roaming the castle at that very moment. Soon occupants of the castle begin to die off in gruesome, violent ways.
