Synopsis:

Tintin is sent to guard Professor Calculus, who has invented a machine that can duplicate anything, and is staying in a village near the border of Syldavia and Bodouria. Rastapopoulous, an infamous and ruthless international criminal, tries to lure Calculus and Tintin away by kidnapping two children, who live nearby, in order to get his clutches on the machine.

Someone is stealing priceless works of art from museums and replacing them with excellent forgeries. Meanwhile, forgetting the troubles of the world, Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, Thomson and Thompson set off on holiday to Syldavia, planning to meet their friend Professor Calculus. But adventure catches up with our heroes as they inadvertently uncover the curse of Shark Lake and its secrets within.

Tintin is sent to guard an absent-minded professor in a Balkan country, but a local criminal tries to lure him away by kidnapping two children. The professor, however, has invented a machine that can duplicate anything.
