Synopsis:

On the Line (2007)
This Oscar-nominated German-language short from director Reto Caffi concerns a lonely and socially isolated department store security guard who grows infatuated with a clerk in his store's bookshop, but finds himself vying with a rival for her attentions. When he sees the other fellow getting beaten senseless on the subway, he does nothing to intervene - and then finds himself racked with guilt for it.

Quickie (1995)
A man and a woman meet during their lunch break in a fast-food restaurant. After some first shy glances, a wild culinary flirt begins, while reality slowly fades away...

Leo's Friends (1996)
Leo is a young boy coming to terms with himself and finding his way in the world of sex. He runs into Caro, a childhood friend he was fond of when they were younger and who he still finds attractive. She too is trying to ward off her own personal demons. Their chance reencounter affects their individual personal conflicts without either truly grasping the other's problem.

Bus-Stop 99 (2000)
Concerns a group of bus passengers, stranded for the night in a roadside cafe in Kansas, and the love story between the hostess and a young cow-boy.

Men by the Sea (2005)
Two friends who have not seen each other for a while decide to go on a trip to Italy together in order to freshen up their friendship. Yet, shortly upon their arrival on the beach, the two men have to realize that they have rather diverging opinions not only as far as the planning of their vacation is concerned...
