Synopsis:

Psychological thriller about a homicide detective who has a psychiatric problem which he keeps secret in case it loses him his job. He begins to experience hallucinations which he believes may help him solve a series of murders.

While on the routines of his job, a Montreal policeman (Michael Ironside) is tormented by flashbacks and hallucinations. He eventually traces the bizarre behavior to the LSD experiments of a CIA scientist (Christopher Plummer).

When a police detective kills a criminal, this traumatic event triggers a locked memory, he didn't know he had, of him being a subject of a CIA experiment.
