Synopsis:

In this fantasy/adventure for the whole family, a young boy and his grandfather are magically transported into a storybook about the adventures of Sinbad. A wicked knight takes control of a lovely princess, and only Sinbad can save the day as the future of the world (and the safe return of our refugees in Literature Land) hangs in the balance. The cast includes Dean Stockwell, Mickey Rooney, and Richard Grieco.

A young boy is taught to use his imagination by his grandfather who casts him in a great adventure back in time. Using a magic coin, he enters the medieval world of Sinbad, who must rescue a beautiful princess from the clutches of an evil knight.
