Synopsis:

Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen enjoyed a Box Office smash hit in this pre-war British crime caper featuring their top of the bill comedy characters! Ches and Bud raid a jewellery shop and manage to evade the law just long enough to bury their ill-gotten gains. After ten years in the clink, they are released and race to recover their jewels. However, while they ve been inside, Messrs. Shuffle & Cutte have built a store on top of their gems. It seems like they re lost forever until fate lends a hand. They are caught acting suspiciously and taken before the manager (ALASTAIR SIM) who reveals that the store is facing imminent bankruptcy. A pair of crooks discovers that after ten years in jail, a department store has been built over the site of their buried loot. However the store is struggling and one of the owners is all too willing to have the crooks burn the store to the ground.

Farce concerning a couple of amiable crooks who hide some loot in a field. On their release from prison ten years later they find out that suburbia has engulfed their field.
