Synopsis:

Manchester (Liam Browne) is a struggling photographer with charm to spare who falls for Noon (Nancy Trotter Landry), a sweet but spunky woman who works as a taxidermist. Noon is also drawn to Manchester, and together they enjoy a wildly enthusiastic sexual relationship that reflects their innocent but deeply passionate love for one another. Manchester enjoys snapping pictures of Noon while they make love, and one day he mistakenly leaves some of the photos in a pub where they're found by Franny (Michael Hodgson), who trades in upscale erotica. Franny is impressed with Manchester's photos and offers to set up a lucrative gallery show, presenting these private documents to the general public. Against his better judgment, Manchester agrees, but his new success as a photographer and the nature of his work has a severe impact on his romance with Noon.

Manchester is a novice photographer, Noon, a shy taxidermist. Together over one sweltering summer they create an idyll of uninhabited lovemaking and free creative expression. Then a wealthy pornographer and connoisseur of erotica discovers Manchester's close up and personal photos, and suddenly the art world wants to get every bit as detailed as their love affair has been. Can this intimate, carnal relationship survive public exposure?

A poetic love story that follows Manchester and Noon as they enjoy a long, hot, summer romance. Noon is our narrator, a shy taxidermist who keeps a silent menagerie in the freezer alongside Manchester's ice pops. Manchester documents their affair, creating wonderfully charged images with just a couple of cheap, instamatic cameras. When a wealthy gentleman called Franny discovers Manchester and launches his photography on the art world, the success destroys the beauty of their once idyllic life.
