Synopsis:

Prepare for a sleepless night, In Their Sleep is a horror thriller that grips and doesn't let go. Sarah [Anne Parillaud] is struggling to come to terms with the death of her teenage son. One night, driving through the darkness, she almost hits a young man, Arthur, who runs into the road bloodied and terrified. He claims to have been attacked by a mysterious assailant, a burglar who is caught in the act and who is determined to kill him so that he cannot be identified. Moved by the boy's plight, and painfully reminded of her own child, Sarah takes Arthur in and vows to protect him. Only when it is too late to turn back does she realise that all is not was it seems, and the road she has chosen to take may turn out to be more dangerous than she could ever have imagined.

The dark horror thriller In Their Sleep unfolds with Sarah (Anne Parillaud, Nikita, Innocent Blood) coming to terms with the death of her teenage son. While out late one night on a lonely road Sarah almost hits a young man who staggers into her path. Bloodied and terrified Arthur, the young man, recounts the earlier events of the evening and claims his injuries were sustained when he caught a burglar. Vowing to help him, Sarah unwittingly delves into a nightmare she may not escape.

After the brutal death of her son, Sarah is just the shadow of what she used to be. One night, she runs over a youngster of the same age as her son. While taking him to her home to nurse him, they become the target of a mysterious killer.
