Synopsis:

Mortal Fear (1994)
Larry Shaw's adaptation of Robin Cook's Mortal Fear stars Joanna Kerns as a doctor working at a prestigious big city hospital. When patients start dying at an alarming rate, she must use all of her wits to defeat the personal at the hospital she begins to suspect are behind the mystery.

Virus (1995)
A strain of ebola, apparently transmitted by an infected African monkey, is starting to sweep across the country. Investigating unusual similarities between many of the victims, a young doctor discovers a conspiracy amongst senior hospital administrators and doctors, who don't seem to want her to stop the disease.

Mortal Fear (1994)
Based on the provocative best-selling novel, a brilliant scientist finds the hidden link that can save countless lives, but when a crazed killer uses the same information to play God, millions are at risk. Dr. Jennifer Kessler is the one person who stands in the way of ultimate medical disaster. Virus (1995)

Mortal Fear (1994)
Elderly and middle-aged patients in a big-city hospital are mysteriously dying, soon after having routine check-ups. When one of her friends becomes the latest victim, a doctor becomes suspicious of everyone around her, including research doctors and her new lover.

Virus (1995)
Somewhere, somehow, someone has released a rare and deadly African ebola virus into the United States, apparently for the purpose of devastating major cities with death and disease. In her efforts to track down the root cause of this virus, fearless female medical researcher Marissa Blumenthal (Nicollette Sheridan) uncovers a sinister conspiracy that may involve her own colleagues--and in so doing, all but signs her own death warrant. First aired by NBC on May 8, 1995, Robin Cook's Virus has since been rebroadcast on cable TV under the title Robin Cook's Formula for Death, thereby distancing itself even farther from Outbreak (but not from another Cook novel called Coma, vestiges of which can be discerned in the plotline of this film!)
