Synopsis:
Down-and-out artist David Andernach (Mads Mikkelsen) gets a chance to travel back in time and set things right after his young daughter, Leonie, drowns in the family pool in this gripping thriller based on Akif Pirinçci's terrifying novel. Five years after the tragedy, the guilt-racked David -- who was bedding his mistress as Leonie died -- steps through a time portal leading to the day of her death. Can he save Leonie, or is it all an illusion?

Formerly successful painter David has lost control over his life after being responsible for the death of his seven-year-old daughter Leonie through a fatal decision. One day, five years later, he discovers a door which will give him the opportunity to start all over again. However, what initially appears to be a wonderful chance for a new beginning, soon turns out to be a veritable horror scenario, since not everything in the past is quite as it seems.

A down-and-out painter who has lost everything in life after his daughter drowned in a pool when he wasn't watching her, gets a second chance to go back and do things differently when he discovers a time portal.
