Synopsis:
Relive the gang's glorious return with this video and DVD that unites the original cast members: Jimmy Nail (Oz), Timothy Spall (Barry), Kevin Whately (Neville), Tim Healy (Dennis), Pat Roach (Bomber) and Christopher Fairbank (Moxey) plus newcomer Noel Clarke (Wyman) who plays the son of the sadly late Wayne. The last 15 years have been kinder to some of the lads than others. One drives a Bentley, another a taxi. Marriages have come and gone. But when Oz turns up with an irresistible offer, the 'Magnificent Seven' find that the friendships they made on the road to Dusseldorf have, against the odds, survived. Wayne and days of Thatcher's unemployed have gone. The need however for one big pay day remains. Some need the money; some need the comfort of friendship. Oz reckons they can each earn a small fortune if they can find a way of transporting Teesside's Transporter Bridge from Middlesbrough to Arizona. Having decided to carry out Oz's plan, over the six episodes, the lads encounter love, lust, deception, cash, theft, fraud, drugs and the FBI! But above all the journey proves that friendship lasts a lifetime...

Original Air Date-5 May 2002
The lads make a start on their new venture, with Dennis resuming his former role as the group's gaffer. In a twist of irony, they decide to employ foreign workers to keep costs down, but it seems very unlikely that that will prove to be the only source of their problems.
Season 3, Episode 3: Bridge Over Troubled Water
Original Air Date-12 May 2002
There is a major financial hiccough with the project when the buyer falls through, Barry gets suspicious about his business partner, Neville causes problems when he speaks to a journalist and Oz gets a big surprise when he goes to see his son perform in a club.
Season 3, Episode 4: A Bridge Too Far
Original Air Date-19 May 2002
Oz's prospective buyer turns up but, without having the legal deed of ownership, securing the sale has complications. Meanwhile, with the backing of the rest of the lads, Barry finally confronts his wife and his business partner.
Season 3, Episode 5: Another Country
Original Air Date-26 May 2002
The lads are arrested by the DEA, but manage to get bail. Work on the project grinds to a halt when there are problems getting appropriate labor, and Oz manages to rub some locals up the wrong way on a night out. Meanwhile, the discovery of a body in the Tees has the British police looking for Moxey.
Season 3, Episode 6: An Inspector Calls
Original Air Date-2 June 2002
Joe's son and his fellow work crew arrive and start work on the construction, but it comes to light that a key part of the shipment never made it to America. Dennis returns to England to strike a deal with Grainger for the missing part, while a policeman from England arrives looking for Moxey.

The adventures of a gang of British workmen abroad. Combines black and white humour with moments of drama, poignancy and drunkenness. In series 1, the lads head to Germany seeking work, and are thrown together by virtue of shared nationality and a run-down wooden hut. The story follows the lads' relationships with women, Germans and each other, and their attempts at passing the time away from home, saving money and ordering food in a German curry house. The series ends with new employment legislation forcing some of the Brits having to choose between the UK and their new-found pleasures abroad. Two years later the gang are reunited for a second series, in which they travel to Wolverhampton to rebuild both the 'magnificent seven' and Barry's home for his impending marriage. A further offer of work sees the lads head to a Derbyshire stately home in need of refurbishment. Here they fall foul of an irritable pub landlord, suspicious locals, a less than enlightened employer and the Inland Revenue. Finally, they are packed off to Spain as illegal workers for Tyneside villain Ally Fraser, and they fall under the unwelcome spotlight of tabloid publicity. Despite this, they still manage to indulge in some serious drinking practice AND complete the building work.
