Synopsis:

Romantic comedy. Joy Miller is a beautician who teaches an evening course in beauty and manners. Grushinsky, from Eastern Europe, mistakes her for a bona-fide teacher and hires her to teach the children of 'Boris the Beast' Pochenko. Eastern and Western cultures clash in a series of misunderstandings.

An ambitious beautician from Queens, who has aspirations way above her working-class origins becomes a tutor for an ill-mannered monarch from the mythical Eastern European country of Slovetzia.

A New York cosmetologist mistakenly thought to be a science teacher is offered a job to teach the children of an Eastern European dictator.
