Synopsis:

The NINJA tradition, one of the sacred Japanese martial arts treasures, is about to become the funniest academy in the world... NINJA ACADEMY. From all over Souther California they came, cowards, spoiled rich kids, men of dubious pasts, and women of uncertain furture... their mission: To become NINJAS All faced with the same situation, seven unlikely students begin the craziest week of their lives at NINJA ACADEMY. Led by the gorgeous daughter of CHIBA, the master Ninja, Josh, a spoiled rich kid that must prove his worth to regain his outlandish allowance, Suzy, a foxy, man-hungry health nut, her reluctant girlfriend, Lynn, an accident-prone nuclear engineer, Claude, the suave English undercover agent code-named Double 0 Seven-Eleven, and a trigger-happy survivalist named George, all turn the ancient tradition of martial arts into a hilarious adventure in self defense. This action-packed comedy pits two rival martial arts schools for the Golden Nunchucks which leads to a final showdown that turns seven goofballs into proud graduates of the funniest school in Ninja history - NINJA ACADEMY

Ninja Academy is the tale of the struggle between two ninja dojos for adults, Chiba's (played by Okamura) located out in the woods in Topanga Canyon and Chiba's former classmate Addleman's (Seth Foster) Beverly Hills Ninja Academy in Beverly Hills, California. Attending this session at Chiba's dojo are stereotypical characterizations of a mime (Robinson), a James Bond-like secret agent (David), a Gung-ho military enthusiast (Factor), a klutz (Jack Freiberger), an immature rich college student named Josh (Egan), and two bimbos (Kathleen Stevens and Lisa Montgomery) who had selected the school because it had been rated number one by a martial arts magazine. Addleman and his students seek revenge on Chiba for stealing their number one ranking and the new students must defend the school while Josh romantically pursues his teacher, Chiba's daughter Gail (Randall).
