Synopsis:

A teen runaway eight months pregnant escapes her life of privilege and with the assistance of a polka enthusiast truck driver discovers near the edge of the New Mexico desert a casino and its resident kooks. Falling in with the eccentric clan which includes Kaiyute Indians and washed up showgirls Mary played by newcomer Olesya Rulin has much to learn as she prepares for the inevitable showdown with her parents.

Expecting Mary is the story of a young girl, who's had all the trappings of an upscale life, but it's only when she finds herself in a small New Mexico town, in a downtrodden trailer park, that she learns the real meaning of love, sacrifice and family.
