Synopsis:
Matt LeBlanc plays a deliciously outrageous version of himself in this laugh-out-loud comedy from creators David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You). Episodes offers a peek behind the curtain at the insanity of Hollywood. You'll never watch TV the same way again. Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Grieg) are a happily married English couple, who are also the successful creators of a hit British TV show. Their life seems complete. That is until a hugely powerful and charismatic US network president persuades them to move to LA to remake their show for American television. He's full of praise and promises 'not to change a thing'. However, things begin to unravel as soon as Sean and Beverly arrive in LA. They discover that the network president has never even seen their show. To make matters worse, he insists that they replace their brilliant lead actor (Richard Griffiths), an erudite Royal Shakespeare veteran with... Matt LeBlanc! Sean and Beverly are appalled. But the decision is out of their hands. Matt comes on board, and soon Sean and Beverly find themselves in a complicated triangle which threatens to destroy not just their TV show but also their marriage.

Matt Le Blanc stars as an atypically outrageous version of himself in this winning comedy series from David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik, creators of FRIENDS and MAD ABOUT YOU, respectively. EPISODES is a unique Hollywood expose that lifts the lid on Tinsel Town and will change your perception of TV forever! Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) are the successful creators of a popular British show. They're also happily married to each other and life seems like it couldn't get any better. That is until they find themselves pursued by the charismatic president of a US television network and asked to move out to LA to oversee the remake of their show, and help tailor it for an American audience. Things however take a turn for the worse when the couple realise their newfound benefactor has never seen the show and he has replaced their original, Royal Shakespeare veteran star (Richard Griffiths - WITHNAIL AND I) with Matt Le Blanc! With Le Blanc onboard against Sean and Beverley best wishes, a complicated struggle for power ensues and a series of conflicts and ego trips that threaten to not only obliterate their show but also their marriage.

British-bred writer-producers, Beverly and Sean Lincoln, have it good. A wonderful marriage and a hit TV series to their credit. Things couldn't be better. Until, Merc Lapidus, a Hollywood big shot in charge of a network, gushes over their series at a social gathering. Merc is certain that a remake of the show will go over well with an American audience. After a lucrative offer, the Lincolns pack up and ship out to The States. It doesn't take long for them to figure out, that Hollywood is a place where deals are made and broken in the same breath. They find themselves holding on tight, as creative control of their project starts to slip from their hands. It has been brought to their attention, that 'You don't say no to Merc'. To add insult to injury, the original star of the show is tossed out for actor, Matt LeBlanc, a charming, yet, manipulative beast, with a grocery list of demands. LA is not what the Lincolns had in mind, but Sean believes he can swim with the sharks. As for Beverly, she'd rather go back to the UK, than deal with these Episodes.
