Synopsis:

FUN IS THE FOUNDATION TO LEARNING... and that is certainly the case at ZAZOO U - the zany institute of higher learning where anything can happen... and usually does. Crayons spring to life, students shrink to one inch tall and extinct animals appear in the janitor's closet. And it's not even lunchtime yet! ZAZOO U is populated by the offbeat Americanimals, a fanciful, diverse menagerie led by the cool, unflappable Boink. Boink is a bonafide 'weirdness magnet' who makes you feel as if you're stuck in a 'funhouse' where anything can - and will - happen. His sidekick is Grizzle, a razorback hog with a ravenous appetite and a habit of being obnoxious! The gang also includes Tess, the tough but sweet tomboy, and Bully, the gentle, giant, music-loving woolly mammoth. Created by children's author and illustrator Shane DeRolf and produced by Film Roman, Emmy Award winning producers of 'Garfield and Friends' ZAZOO U combines off-the -wall characters with surreal gags, contemporary music and a unique new visual style.

Zazoo U is a school for the adventurous. Its students consist of Griz, a hoggish stubborn but good-hearted pig; Bully Wooly Mammoth, a gentle giant who loves to play the piano; and Slogo and Logan, two Eastern-European relatives who come from a carnival and bring their circus-antics into the school with them. And it's not just the students: Miss Devine is an extravagant bohemian teacher with a pet 'rarf' (an unknown species); the science lecturer, Dr Russell, is a walrus; and the music teacher thinks of himself as the new Frank Sinatra and always sings a song. Much of the school's involves talent agents from outer space, invisible strings seen only through imagination, and most notably live-action kids who stampede around when the bell rings (woe betide anyone in their path). However, in spite of all these insane occurrences, there is always a sane moral at the center of the story that aids in instructing a lesson to the students as well as the viewer.
