Synopsis:
In the film, God has finally given up on humanity and has decided to break his covenant. In order to do so the Ten Commandments must be returned to heaven. As they are not allowed to return to earth to retrieve the lost Stone Tablets, the angels develop an ingenious plan to create a human being who besides being sufficiently intelligent will also be prepared to give up life to return the Tablets. When two very special men meet 'by chance', this unmerciful plan starts to take definite shape.

God is disappointed with the human race and wants his stone tablets back. An angel is given the assignment and, with Gabriëls help, tries to manipulate several humans on earth to get his job done. But humans have a will of their own...

A cherub manipulates history so that two friends (Stephen Fry, Greg Wise) can procreate with a comely cellist (Flora Montgomery).
