With his help they are able to trace the entrance of the time corridor but are attacked by a dalek. Army personel and a professor researching strange cannisters in the basement arrive to defeat the dalek which is pushed out of the warehouse. A hude cruiser in deep space is attacked and its prisoner (dalek creator Davros) is set free by Commander Lytton who is working for the Daleks. The Daleks want their creator to cure setbacks in their programming which is failing in their war with The Movellans. The Doctor travels through the time Corridor with Stein to look for Turlough who has accidentally being whisked to the Dalek ship. Their the Doctor finds out a terryfying truth about Stein.... 'You see Doctor, I did'nt quite tell you the truth. I serve the Daleks. I'm a dalek agent!'

Caught in a time corridor, the TARDIS gets dragged to Earth in 1984. But there are mercenaries from the future at work, and at the other end of the corridor, a strike force plans the prison break of the man who created the ultimate evil. The Daleks remain under the threat of the Movellan virus, and they want Davros.

A time corridor forces the Doctor to the London docklands on present-day Earth where a bomb squad watches over some strange, alien canisters. At the other end, a battle cruiser lunches an assault on a prison space station that holds just one prisoner - Davros, creator of the Daleks.
