Synopsis:
If Dealer already announced the arrival of a major talent on the international stage Womb confirms it with Hungarian writer-director Benedek Fliegauf delivering this hypnotic tale of love lost and found but not as you necessarily know it. Childhood sweethearts Rebecca and Thomas are separated in a tragedy but reunited when she makes a controversial decision in order to bring her lover back seemingly from the dead. Sumptuously photographed against some of England's most breathtaking coastal surrounds Womb sustains a rarefied atmosphere with a futuristic context set in the now.

Set in the near future, revolves around childhood sweethearts Rebecca and Thomas who go their separate ways in life before being reunited as students. They engage in a passionate love affair which is shattered when Thomas dies in a car accident. Unable to accept this blow dealt by fate, Rebecca fights to have him cloned and carry him inside her. A new Thomas is born and Rebecca thinks that everything can return to the way it was, but nothing unfolds as expected.

When her husband dies, a woman decides to have him cloned.
